Good value for money

The breakfast and roof top bar/restaurant were both amazing. Food was excellent quality and the breakfast gave so many options. Bed was super comfortable and aircon worked well.

The roof smelled musty, there was water behind the toilet on the floor which had been sitting. Marks on the walls, a deep clean would make this room perfect.

Nice break before heading out to Raja Ampat ferry

This was a relaxing, air conditioned Western-style hotel where we stayed the night before we caught the ferry to Raja Ampat. It is closer to downtown than airport hotels but not in downtown (which is walking distance) on a hill. Attractive property but not much in the way of facilities.

The sound level of the music in the top floor restaurant was excruciating on Halloween eve when we were there and the noise permeated the rest of the hotel. It might have been a special event but I recommend you ask for a room away from the stairwells. Luckily they let us eat in the much quieter lounge where we could hear the frogs croak in the night. The taxi the hotel arranged for us to the ferry seemed expensive.

Satisfactory for a night

I was allowed to checkin very early. The room, though small, was quiet and overlooked the bay. Hot water was plentiful. There is a restaurant on site though much of what the menu contained was not available.

The receptionist was terse at check-in. Rooms are small and the restaurant open air so wear repellent. Service is indifferent. Nowhere to walk around the hotel and well away from shops.

The hotel is located on a hill which gives a view on Sorong.

The hotel is located on a hill which gives a view on Sorong. It is close to the "clubs" so for the night life, it helps. The hotel is close to the harbor for the liveaboard. Even though, Sorong city is not really big.

I was not a big fan of the breakfast. The food was not exceptionnal if compared to the fancinest of the hotel and the place I had stayed for 3 nights before (which was much cheaper and much less comfortable on weigeo).

Location good and the rooms facing out over the harbour are the best. Breakfast is average and the roof top restaurant is nice.

great breakfast, roof top bar with a place to have a cold beer. nice staff

room nicely done but on the small size, no windows so the air quality was difficult to maintain. pillows uncomfortable. The walls are not thick so outside sound is a problem especially if you want to watch tv.

Very clean comfortable room.

Very clean comfortable room. Loved the breakfast and the rooftop bar/restaurant.

I would not typically pay this much for a night stay while traveling in Indonesia but after being on a boat for a week, it was a nice treat.

A hotel located close to the city center and at a convenient distance from the airport. The staff was kind, the room clean and the Swedish buffet breakfast very substantial.

Although it is rated as a four-star hotel, they did not have a hair dryer, the bathroom smelled bad and although we ordered a massage the day before, we did not manage to do it because the masseurs did not respect the set time. Probably if you stay several nights, not just one, you can get a massage. I recommend those who want to stay more than one night to book rooms with a window and a balcony, because those without a window are dark and you have to keep the air conditioning on all the time.

Probably one of the few good choices to overnight in Sorong while on transit.

We stayed overnight on our way to Raja Ampat. The staff was great all around, really. So they saved it, but the hotel seems tired and in need of some updates. We didn’t expect much, to be honest, given that this property looked like the best option from a limited few considered.

The rooms don’t have balconies, and ventilation throughout the hotel is poor, so it feels stuffy. Thank God for the open air rooftop for Bfast/dinner. Bartenders were great!

Waterfall is beautiful but not inside the room !

Good location, reasonable comfort, good breakfast, excellent value for money. Nice view of the city.

During the night, water leaked from the air conditioner in the middle of the room. I asked the reception for another room, but they informed me that they were full and that I should wait for maintenance. the problem was resolved relatively quickly, but they should always have spare rooms for such eventualities.

The bed was nice , clean and confortable.

The bed was nice , clean and confortable. The room had an air system in the bathroom and a kettle. The side lamps were easy to switch . The restaurant staff was nice helped me to get some vegan food at the restaurant.

1- no sign at the breakfast to indicate what is vegetarian and or vegan. A simple colour code would suffice. 2- there were some stain in the bathroom. I'm not sure if that meant that it was dirty. 3- the walls between the rooms were really thin. I wasn't able to sleep because someone was listening to some music until late and then someone else woke up around 5 am and made some noise as well. 4- the Aircon automatically starts at 18degrees c. Could the starting temperature be set at 23 or 25? This was mean better management of the resources and less impact on the climate. 5- instead of having complementary water bottles, could you have a water refill system?

Great option for a comfortable night in Sorong and late night drinking.

Staff are friendly and very helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar is great in terms of view/space, wish there was a slightly larger selection of drinks there though. We didn't get to eat the breakfast as had to get an early flight but it looked very nice (grabbed a donut to go and that was tasty).

Check-in was a little slow, but the staff were engaging and friendly throughout.

The bed linen didn’t smell fresh at all.

The bed linen didn’t smell fresh at all. In fact, particularly the pillows, they had a pungent smell, as if they had not been washed for a while. Also found too much hair (not mine) in the bed. I don’t know if this is a problem with the laundering facilities or something else.

Dirty - we were put in a stinking smoking-room which we did not request. The toilet was not clean as well and housekeeping never turned up to clean it when we asked Dark - room had no windows Bad service - in the restaurant, service was slow and often not welcoming. We arrived for check-in early and were asked to wait in the bar and they would get us when ready. We waited for 3 hours before realising they'd completely forgotten about us. Expensive - for the area, this hotel is in the higher end, in our opinion, it isn't worth it. Bad Food - we ate at the restaurant as there wasn't many other options around. The food was really bad and expensive.
